Here's the final logo. The "M" and "G" are the photographer's initials that form the body and lens of the camera. I intentionally left some of the lines open to suggest the "art" part of his business name. I wanted this to look more like a line art drawing more so then a solid object. The uniform weight of the lines is a bit out of my area of comfort because I usually have a style that is more free-form. But I wanted to do something different for myself. The colors were chosen to be "progressive" - I think this particular color combination is pretty gender neutral yet somewhat exciting and youthful, some of the characters I wanted to portray of this photographer.
